Gunkanjima is such a unique place where coal miners abandoned the island around 40 years ago after the fall of coal consumption. Yamasa cruise had offered a high-valued service. We joined the itinerary with landing sightseeing. Despite I know some Japanese it is always nice...More

The trip is very expensive compared to other activities in Japan. The boat trip takes about 1 1/2 hour and the trip to the island about half an hour. Only japanese speaking guides. You are not allowed to walk around by yourself. You make a...More
