We saw penguins swimming, feeding, sun bathing, staring, fighting and even frowning. Also, there were many other aquatic life like morays, eels and even mudskippers etc! Overall its small aquarium but houses over 70 penguins of 9 different species.

Notable collection of penguins, both cold-weather and temperate penguins. Lovely area with penguins living in the bay. Don't miss feeding time when they broadcast feed and have penguins walk alongside you on the beach. Large number of King penguins with glass enclosure where you can get close and have a great look at them. Everything is CASH ONLY. Tickets, food,... More

So adorable especially during feeding time. It's also cheap (I think less than AUD$10). But difficult to get to by bus if you don't know what your doing. Their buses names are in kanji rather than numbers.

Our visit to the penguins was fun. They are amazing animals and very amusing to watch they had a good variety of penguins and looked well kept. The aquarium itself is only small and probably for most people an hour there would be enough time. The return trip from Nagasaki station took longer than we were at the aquarium, however... More

Aquarium was very underwhelming. I'd put this last on my to-do list. Penguins were nice, but I expected way more than what I got.

30 min from Nagasaki station by bus. The price was good if you have the discount card. Penguins are very you cute. There's a beach area where you can get really close to them. I was there at 11:10am and saw them feed the penguines. Fun for all ages.

Amazing spot to unwind and observe amazingly adorable penguins! Nice facilities and friendly staff. Although, be wary of the transportation back. Just note down the timetable, for your own sake.

The aquarium is good for any kind of ages to visit. There's a different kind of penguins was living in there. Some come from South Africa or Chile. Entrance tickets for adult is 510 yen & kids over 3 years old is 300 yen. The outdoor area to see penguins is wonderful and you also can close to them in... More

The museum is for PENGUINS, first! Their variety of penguins is amazing. King, Chinstrap, Galapagos, Jackass (African) and Humbolt, Little Blue, Rock hopper, Gentoo and Adelie. The frolic outside is fun!
