One foto-nut friend took us to the lookout in the Cosmo building. Arrived 4.30ish.. walked around the observation tower, and stopped at the part which had the sun and sea view. It was chockablock with camera stands.,some attended, some not. He was trying to find a space to set up his camera, no decent space available, till one front row... More

The building itself is an office tower and because I paid an evening visit, no one was around at all. I was a little unsure whether or not I'd come to the right place and it took awhile to find the entrance to the observatory. Admission was ¥510 (~$5 CAD) for one and there weren't that many visitors. Here you... More

The building is tall enough to have a great view. It seems that not many people would visit the place, and thus it's pretty quiet and you can easily pick a good seat to enjoy the scenary. Visit here for the time you can see the sunset, and stay longer you can then also see the night view of Osaka... More

Absolutely fabulous! If in Osaka you really need to go up the 256 meters for a spectacular view! It was really quiet Sunday morning and the 600 odd yenes really worth it!

Wonderful view of Osaka Bay. Best for Sun Set. Don't miss. It is also included in Osaka Amazing Pass. The view made us fail in love with Osaka.

Nice observatory but very much like the view from atop Hyatt Regency Osaka the view at night is peaceful and tranquil. It's also right next to ATC.

This attraction is free with Osaka Amazing Pass. To reach the top, we need to go by a very slanted escalator. For someone like me who have fear in height, I couldn't open my eyes at all. The observatory platform is open and offer 360-degree panoramic view. Beside the the observatory or sky garden, visitor can enjoy awesome view indoor... More

We got free entry with the amazing pass. It was the furthest free attraction at the west with the amazing pass. With the other high viewing attractions that came free with the amazing pass, i will say to give this a miss. We came here as on the amazing pass book stated the restaurant at level 48th offer lunch buffet... More

Visited the Osaka Prefectural Government Sakishima Building in late March 2014. The building is also know as Cosmo Tower, and it is a short 10-minute walk from the Trade Center Mae Station. Entrance fee up to the observatory tower is JPY500 per person. Be sure to grab a brochure at the counter, as it will be helpful to identify buildings/... More
