So many shops , so much to eat and lots to take in. Something for everyone and great photo opportunities as well ! Very busy ... you'll never get to see all the streets !

a lots variety of shops, from local to branded. Nothing special though and the price avarage is pretty expensive. Nonethleess this place is near ichiran Ramen, the famous Takoyaki and Glico Board. Sure can give it a try to visit..

This is 600 odd metres of shopping insanity. Some really great bargains to be found here. Make sure you take your passport if you're from overseas as you can get Tax free on purchases over ¥5000 or so. I could have easily spent a lot of money here if that was my intention. Worth spending a few hours here wondering... More

Quite an exciting experience with lots of shops to see, I actually enjoyed walking through the side streets, which offered a different kind of shop.

Lots of great local food to eat. Everything from takoyaki street food stalls to sushi and ramen restaurants. Shopping is pretty good especially if you are a sneaker head. Prices for food and shopping are quite reasonable.

UNIQLO and H&M aside, if you know where to look, other quaint shops have better prices to offer than anywhere else in Osaka. Shinsaibashi-suji is a long strip of road full of shops and stores, with some wares more western than others. All it takes is a little exploring and I promise, you'll find the best deals. I bought authentic... More

Really frantic undercover shopping strip. Being a bit taller than the average Japanese, you can see a river of heads flowing through this very long strip. Bright lights, great shops and eateries. It leads into the Dotonburi area. Without doubt a real must see in Osaka. Easy 3 stops on the subway from Umeda Station which is next to Osaka... More

If you are not into shopping, I advise to not check this street in the evening on the weekend as its total hassle... way too many people in this never ending street. If, however you like shopping, good luck :)

We visited Shinsaibashi on a rainy Tuesday evening and it was still a crowded and lively area. Good thing that it was covered and out of the rain. It’s within walking distance of both Dotonburi and the Namba Walk.
