This tour of the Osaka Castle gives indepth knowledge of how Osaka city begin. The 8th storey exhibits consumed every moment of the visitors time and a worthwhile trip to be there

Osaka castle was beautiful and rich with history! It’s a great way to start your trip in Osaka. I would recommend visiting the market stalls they set up near the castle for souvenirs and climbing to the top of the castle just adds to the...More

The trains and shops have ruined this park. Too much pandering to tourists. The park has lost its peacefulness and it’s awful now. The big business had ruined it.

Let's start with the basics: this castle is a reconstruction and actually houses a museum with informative displays inside it. If you are looking for an authentic castle that survived WWII, this is not it. That said, I had fun walking through it and learning...More

English review is below, Seeing Osaka Castle with sunset is much more beautiful than in the noon. But you should pay attention to the time Osaka Castle closes and distance from the station. There’re 2 stations close to Castle, notwithstanding walking about 20 minutes....More

We were staying close to the castle and it was worth visiting even if only in around the grounds. Which I feel gives you the glimpse of how the castle and Osaka back in history. The castle itself have been updated to cater for the...More

Loved it. Lots to read and learn about a little poor boy born to a farmer that built this castle and unified Japan, we really enjoyed it! Great views from the top too

The inside was modernized. This is just a nice photo opportunity. Just take a picture then move on to the next attraction.

Osaka Castle provides what Japan does very well, which is juxtaposing the ancient against the modern with this historical landmark situated in a large park smack in the middle of the city. From the observation deck on its 8th floor, one has a great view...More

Hello Zehra Yes I would visit the shine while you are there. If you have time visit the restaurants and tourist shops across the park from the castle. It gets busy but there are places to sit. If you have more time in Osaka... More

I am not sure about the castle but we were outside the castle at the park area taking photo late at night. The photos are great at night.
