To-ji temple has some of the most beautiful wooden Buddhist statues but the absolute pinnacle of the visit is 5-store pagoda. The pagoda outshines all other pagodas that I've seen in Japan.

Nice gardens, temples and pagoda in a not so crowded environment. We enjoyed walking around and taking in the sites in a much more relaxed and quiet atmosphere from the big tourist spots.

Buy One Day or Two Day Pass and spend day(s) to visit those temples and shrines. Not so many people here and enjoyed the quiet time there.

I'm not really sure, but I would also say the Toji tenple. You should just take a walk and look around in the ones you think looks interesting if you havent gone yet
