The garden is beautiful and peaceful. Nice place to just go and sit around and contemplate life. I liked the contrast of the garden and the surrounding concrete buildings. However, it really is just a Japanese garden and since Japan is full of them, this...More

It took a bit of research here to find this location and this made my day. The garden is cheap to enter, and delivers with both historical and cultural buildings with nature's beauty. The ponds are gorgeous, the colors of autumn were breathtaking and there...More

Tucked away in the busy Motomachi district, this garden is a serene oasis in a busy city. The garden meanders through stalls of floral displays to a truly magnificent Japanese Garden. Visiting in the Autumn is a delight due to the vibrant colours of deciduous...More

Beautiful hidden gem of a garden. Colorful in the fall, but fantastic all year round as well. A must see if in the Kobe area.

The garden is not really big, an hour to two would be sufficient to complete the tour. The old stable and house were interesting as well. There was a special Chrysanthemum exhibition during my visit, totally awed by it. Overall, I enjoyed the tranquility and...More

Even when the azelias are not in bloom this large garden is absolutely gorgeous. Nothing in the city comes close to the beauty you'll find here. Not to be missed. In late August you can also visit at night.
