Harborland is one of the must see places in Kobe. We went here both at daytime and nighttime. There is a nice viewing area of the Kobe port tower and maritime museum near the starbucks. We had a nice cup of coffee at Nishimura Coffee shop.

One thing I have to say I like about Kobe is the vast and wide-open landscape which is rarely seen in major Japanese cities such as Tokyo and Kyoto. Perhaps Harborland itself is the best example of this – go there on the weekend and you can see so many people with baby carriages, telling you how comfortable this place... More

The first thing that I realized when I arrive to the mall is that it has a very unique design. I feel like i was in Europe somehow, the design is very unique. Specially when I went to the dock, the view is mesmerizing. Very beautiful. A good place for you to just sit around and drink

This modern development is obviously massive. The new buildings are well designed and spacious. The old section is stylish. Good for families to spend one day for various reasons. For overseas tourists, many shops can also be found elsewhere in the world. It could be an interesting half day visit.

Would have to give this 3.5 star as did not spend a lot of time at this place. Due to only 8 hours in Kobe, we instead visited other places in the vicintiy like Kawasaki Good Times. This place is popular with locals with the shopping malls, littered with restuarants. We saw a huge mall which is for children playground... More

Nice scenery especially during night time. There are nearby shopping malls and restaurants in the area. Perfect place to take a stroll while enjoying the sea breeze.

Visited the harborland at night, the lights are so beautiful. In the Mosaic there are foods, restaurants and shops. The park is so beautiful and people take photos there. On the back of the Mosaic there are harbour where people just sit and watch the view. So lovely.

If you are coming from places like Kyoto, Himeji, temples, castles, etc. this is not like that, it is a new area with shopping malls and restaurants, like Odaiba in Tokyo. For us, the reason I visited Kobe and spend some time in Harborland was that from this city our grandparents immigrated to our country. It is quite symbolic. But... More
