The surrounding areas are very beautiful. However, when we visited last week, the main exhibition museum is being renovated, so only the much smaller hall is open. We didn't know this when we booked the tour there. I think the sign said it would be...More

Worth a visit and a moment of reflection. The park itself is not very big and can easily be toured with just hour or two. Be prepared for some very emotional imagery within the museum. Heart wrenching.

Quiet, clean and diverse park to relax, enjoy and remember. Make a walk through the park, sit on a bench and have a look at all the monuments remembering the impact of the atomic bomb.

This park, in the same area as the Atomic Bomb Dome, is definitely something one should visit when in Hiroshima. The park brings into focus both the horror of war and the blessing of peace.

A must see for anyone interested in history or the future. Will stay in you memory as it has for those who lived through this.

Hiroshima is flat. The Peace Park is flat. Very easy to get around.

The park is open all through the year. But the A-bomb museum is closed on New Year's day.
