We had a surprise there as we were intending to go for the playground that is indoor but they had a sooner game and the only way to get in was with a ticket. So we bought the ticket and the atmosphere was awesome with food, beer and well organised crowd control. My kids enjoyed the playground and my elder... More

Sapporo Dome is a great indoor baseball venue, with a nice (and free) play area for children. During games, they control the number of children who can play at one time to keep it safe, although when they were hovering around that top limit, my five year-old said it was too crowded and hard to get turns to do things.... watched an Arashi concert in Sapporo Dome and it was a great experience! the design from the outside is so simple yet elegant. the interior is great as well. i thought it was way smaller than Tokyo Dome but judging from the inside, its almost as comparable.

I traveled to the city of Sapporo in the Hokkaido area in Japan back in September and had the opportunity to attend to a game of the local baseball team "Sapporo Fighters" , not only was the game to the level of Major Leagues but what impressed me even more was how organized and clean the place was from the... Japanese baseball is an AWESOME experience! Even if you are not a huge fan of the game, go anyway. The crowd, the singing, the chanting the spectacle, is fantastic! If you ARE a huge fan, all the more reason! They play a great brand of baseball. Not to be missed!!

Amazing place of engineering. Worth a visit to see the local teams play baseball or soccer. The turf in the stadium can move around to form the different fields! The Japanese crowds are both loud and respectful of the opposition. Well worth it

This stadium held one of the FIFA Worldcup match back in 2002. It is very modern and high tech stadium i've been to. There is a gift shop for Cansadole Sapporo team & Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighter which is the Hokkaido Football club & Hokkaido Baseball club respectively on the first floor. There is playground for kids and restaurants inside. Tourists... More

I've been to a few events at Sapporo Dome and it's a crap place to get to and from. When leaving, you have to go through an undercover area but it gets bottlenecked so badly that you might have to wait for half hour or more to even get in, then a long, crowded wait to get through. I have... More

You can watch a game of a local professional baseball team here. There is also an observatory, so it's possible to see the landscape of Sapporo. A soccer game and a musical concert are performed here. It's in the location of about 30 minutes by car from the center of Sapporo.
