It started to snow in the morning, and we decided to walk about to enjoy the snow. The campus was one of the few areas which was open to public then.

It was winter so finding parking was a little difficult. Not sure where the attractions were or viewing sites. No signages nor directions.

Beautiful gingko trees all lit up at night when we visited. Beautiful, serene campus. Great place to walk around in.

A must visit site for photographers. The trees were very colorful and main attraction is the ginko tree with yellow leaves

Since it's late November but nevertheless it was still a nice visit. Good size campus, nice university environment. Visited the museum which was good. Stopped by the Student cafeteria and had a nice piece of cheesecake at 108 yen each, hot/cold water/tea is self served...More

What can I say, this is a must visit location in Sapporo, especially in fall or winter. I went there to see a very impressive view of campus, and unforgettable ginko trees. Also, this place is just near a subway station, only takes 5 mins...More

This is a wonderful place for autumn leaves, especially the Gingko Avenue. There are cafeterias and restaurants in the campus.

No need, you can just go to the Hokkaido University The information office is close to the main gate. It is open during the office hour
