I was brought here by a local friend for the children to play at the fountain. It offers an amazing view of Sapporo and to walk and enjoy nature around the area. We did not walk very far as we have young children but the fountain and the ice cream were sufficient to keep us happy!

The view is OK, but not great. The paths are not clear of snow even in March, so you are not able to take a walk everywhere in the park. Probably OK in the summertime, but not in March.

Hot spot for the local to see the night view. On the top of Asahiyama, so you will need to have a car to get up there. Not a huge spot to go so only need like an hour.

It was really a great view from up here. However we went here during the winter so we could not climb the steps going up as it was not advisable to because the place was covered in snow. But it was worth the trip to go here. We saw some families here bringing up their sleds. I would like to... More
