during mid day, it was nothing than a tower clock, but one can absorb the atmosphere of sapporo city perfectly there. guess i have to come back in different season like christmas and see it at night :)

The view up there is not fantastic, not worth paying to go up. Can make do with taking a few pics around the park.

We walked and travelled on public transport a lot during our stay and the iconic TV Tower was a landmark that helped us navigate the city. It's beautifully lit up during the night and forms a bigger lighting display as part of Odori Park. We didn't go up the tower but thoroughly enjoyed the view from the ground up.

I didn't go up the tower. I only took picture of the tower from odori park which is very nice to take picture with. If you're in Sapporo, I'd suggest to quckly visit this place. It's 3mins train ride from Sapporo Station or 15m walk from Sapporo Station.

Sapporo TV Tower (さっぽろテレビ塔 Sapporo Terebi-tō) - Located at Eastern end of the Odori Park. Tickets can be bought at level 3 (22.9m) . I did not get up the observation deck. It's beautiful. If you have extra time, try to see it both during day time and night time.

Obviously another well known structure in this town. You will no doubt walk past it or spot it from a distance when exploring Sapporo. Pros: Well known, looks cool - a must see for first time tourists to Sapporo. Nice park surrounding this area too. Cons: Not really much else to see and do around this place. Just good to... More

It is a tower in Japan where you can see Sapporo in each direction. Notting much to comment, just take out your camera and snap lots of photo. Day and night give you different feeling. So try to be there before sunset then you can enjoy both environment.

Didn't go up the Tower since I'd already done the higher tower where you can see this tower from above, namely the JR Tower just a 10-minute walk north of this tower; but nonetheless, I was impressed by this tall & imposing structure with the shape of the Eiffel Tower on the east end of the lovely Odori Park with...
