Located outside of town, this place offers a retreat from the busy city that Hangzhou sometimes can get. there are plenty of hotels here, so I would suggest spending the night, if only so that you can get up early in the morning and go...More

Lovely way to spend the day, climbing pagodas, taking boat rides. A great way to escape the city. You can easily spend a full day exploring the park.

Maybe we were really unlucky or just blind, but I expected to see LOTS of wildlife. We saw ONE heron at the entrance to the park then NOTHING after that single sighting. Grounds were OK but they are man- made

I had a 3 hours long trip to Xi xi wetland park. Had a great time. Full of peace and tranquility. Lovely weather and so calm. Plus a few food stalls with local dishes. In my view a must for anybody visiting Hangzhou.
