This is a very cool, must visit while in Kunming. It is easy to do this village and Dian Chi in the same day. The culture and history in the village is outstanding.

The Village provides private tours for tourists and a lot of opportunities to learn about the various minorities in Yunnan area. I can highly recommend to join the tea degustation. Nice place in Kunming

This is a must visit. But be prepared to walk with a pair of comfy shoes and bring along a hat or umbrella. Worthwhile place for an interesting stroll.

Interesting park devoted to different ethnic groups that make up the population of Yunnan. Each group occupies a different area of the site and you see traditional housing, costumes, crafts et cetera. Certainly worth a visit

Take bus 40. It takes about 45 minutes. If in a car, go south on Beijing Lu until the end then look for signs.
