Take Chinese currency with you. On our Wendy Wu tour (21days) we were offered many optional tours on different days. You had to pay cash for these. No cards. These tours were usually 150 to 200 Yuan per person per tour... More

Dear juliebel56, We would recommend taking Chinese Yuan with you. However, the are facilities for you to withdraw cash in the larger cities.
