The Shaanxi History Museum has a great history of China; but, if you arrive late, it gets packed! I wish the museum would limit the number of guests! It's tough to see anything once it gets busy. Arrive here right at opening.

We expected more. The free tickets are not worth waiting for. If you have not seen one of the other museums of this nature it might be exciting.

Easy to get to by subway, and useful in extending understanding the Terra-cotta Warriors but so crowded and signage less than optimal.
