I stayed at the Queen's hotel, Huanghou da jiu dian. So it's like 3 mins walk to this park. I've heard they used to charge 20 yuan to get in this place but about 10 years ago all the parks like this in Xi'an is open to public for free. It located next to the Xi'an Jiaotong Univeristy old campus,... More

This amazing park is known by several names, and even locals often don't know all of them, so be persistent. The official name is really XingQing Gong Park, which is sometimes written as one word. I walked there from the Bell Tower in about 45 minutes, so it's a bit of a hike but it can be done. Just across... More

We were on a Gate1 tour, and this was a totally unexpected high-light! All 38 of us thoroughly enjoyed this - the friendliness of the locals, inviting us to join in whatever activities they were doing. We highly recommend that you take 1-2 hours and have fun! There are several types of activities, which you can join in. And it's... More

We visited here as part of a Gate 1 tour and it turned out to be one of the highlights. I couldn't believe there were so many activities in this park! We visited in the morning and our guide provided us with fans so we could participate in a fan dance with the people - super fun! Then we moved... More

One of the nicest mornings in our visit to China was spent in this beautiful park. The locals visit parks (not just here - all over China) to exercise, dance, sing, play cards or mah-jong, or just to chat. It is a lovely social outing for most who live in huge highrise apartments, and the crowds it gathers is incredible!... More

This is a very large park. People gather here to rest, relax and have fun. It has amuzement park, pond, historical statue and so on. Japanese visit here to see monument of " Abe no Naka maro " who came to Xian to learn Buddhism in AD700.

Most of the temple's and palaces are the same type of thing. I liked walking around and just observing the surrounding areas. Imagination runs wild. Worth a look though nice and clean. Gardens around are lovely.

As part of our Gate 1 Tour, I was anxious to see the Terra Cotta Warriors, and felt this stop was cutting into our time there, until we got to the park, roamed around and watched the music lessons, the dance lessons, and the flag waving parade among the lovely grounds, when I realized theres is nothing like this in...
