First of all, 我很爱你广州 -- I very love Guangzhou, the food, the atmosphere, the people and of course the shopping. There are many places to shop in Guangzhou, Haizu, White Cloud(bai yun), etc. and do not forget across the Haizu Bridge opposite the Land Mark...More

We were so surprised to see the chain stores on both sides of the pedestrianised area. Yet, we were lucky to sneak into a big temple with cravings of the Buddha which were more attractive than things outside. What's impressed us the most was the...More

It has many restaurants, clothes and shops with international brands, thus it is more suited for international tourists. Consequently, prices may be higher compared to other pedestrian shopping streets. However, it's still a convenient and lively place to stay in. For those looking for a...More

Great location for all types of shopping, food and back rooms. The main stream shopping is good with a lot of specials and variety. If you are looking for some back room fakes, they are available too. Pick a street hawker and tell them exactly...More

I would like to go to Guangzhou via bullet train. Which train station is the best to board a bullet train (either Louhu or Futian). As i know these 2 train station have destination to Guangzhou; but i dont know they arrive at east or west guangzhou. I will love to arrive at place that is easy to get local food to try out, and some good bargain shopping. Is there any suggestion? Couple traveler here, but tour not accepting our trip as we had a last minute trip to shenzhen. So far i m really enjoying my "duo" solo trip; as it is much more easier, less cost and no time constraint; although i cannot read chinese :) .. Cheers !

For the best choice of food or shopping you can come into any of the Guangzhou stations. I would not take the train to Guangzhou south as it is more in the Panyu area than Guangzhou itself.
