Stuffed full of fine examples of Chinese painting and calligraphy; inkstones; giltwood and china and lots, lots more. We didn't have time to do it justice but it's certainly a must-see if you love beautiful things, well laid out.

Wow I have never been in such an empty museum. There are some rooms which are closed and the ones which are open should be closed. The rooms which are open contains some calligraphy and some collections which is so low level I would not call it art. Do not waste your time you will just feel sad afterwards.

I visited at the exhibition of the forth triennial. The visit was a disappointment, both in terms of rooms (setup and light) and the choose of artists. I was hoping for more contemporary art from China.

I visited the gallery three years ago and was disappointed, but my visit this month was very different. The sculpture was fascinating, comprising of the work of 12 different Chinese sculptors. The industrial boatyard pieces in a special exhibition were exciting and a change from the traditional pieces in Hong Kong's Museum of Art. I still feel I'm missing some... More
