Not many people get to visit this place which has a wide variety of Islamic ancient history laying in its closets. The supervisor is also an excellent gentleman who was very cordial and explanative. It helped us as we went with a group where the leader was an acquaintance of the supervisor.

There were some very interesting features including models of the early Masjid e Nabwi. If you do not understand Arabic it would be beneficial to have a guide with you to explain some of the features which are labelled in Arabic. It was a relatively simple museum but an interesting one to learn about the early history of the city.
