Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Vyborg Library, designed by the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto is again in beatuful shape after long years of decay. The functionalistic building was opened in 1935. After the Second World War and Soviet annexation the library was renamed the Nadezhda Krupskaya ( = Lenin's wife) Municipal Library. But now Alvar Aalto Library.
The building is full of light and interesting details, ideas by young Aalto. For example the furniture is designed by him. Definetely worth seeing when visiting Vyborg (Viipuri) in Finnish), the old multinational city.

I like this library, designed by Finnish architect Alvar Aalto (hence the name). It might not look very special on the outside, but the inside is amazing! The enviroment inside is very calming and they have a huge variety of books, sadly though, I do not speak Russian, so I could not read these. They have free WiFi, however you need a Russian phone number to sign in to the network. Great library for studying, working, and reading!

This is a must visit for all Aalto fans, the light is flowing, the directions and the placing of windows is wonderful. The lecture hall's curved ceiling was amazing and the whole library invited for a relaxed sitting-down to read and relax.

The library is beautiful and very interestingly designed. The tour is not, however, particularly exciting. It's located in a very nice, peaceful park in the center of Vyborg, itself a gorgeous city.

We visited with friends and were lucky enough to be guided by the head librarian. This building is a must for anyone interested in architecture and in particular Clark Alvar Aalto. The integration of services furniture all designed by the architect is a real joy, daylighting is a massive feature of the design

Beautiful building with amazing architecture. After renovation it became even more beautiful. Twenty years ago I used to visit this library every day working on my thesis. Today its not only for reading. They have a nice exhibition hall and they even give tours to visitors.

This old library building was almost a wreck before it was fully renovated couple of years ago. It is full of light and beautiful shapes! A very cozy atmosphere and interesting place to visit!

The library of Vyborg is a master piece designed by the famous Finnish architect Alvar Aalto. Not only is the building but everything inside beautifully restored. A must place for all interested in Aalto's furniture and architecture, located centrally in a park.
