On the 8th of June in 2012 the national show-museum «Grand Maket Rossiya» opened its doors hospitably for the wide auditory. By this time, thousands of citizens and quests of our city watched this unique exhibition. On the layout area of 800 square meters you will see the generalized images of cities and regions of Russia. Hundreds of moving trains and cars, sound and light effects add dynamics to the exposition and thousands of tiny figures make the genre scenes. Add the astonishing effect of day and night changing doesn`t leave a single visitors indifferent.

I came expecting not too much, but was positively surprised. Entrance fee is definitely worth it and you get good value for your money. Spent about 2 hours there including a short break at the Café. The staff should smile more. But they're Russians after...More

When I first read that the creators of Grand Maket Russia took inspiration from the Miniaturwunderland in Hamburg, I was highly interested, as I adore those worlds in miniature. There is a geographical division of Russia in its various parts with the landscape to reflect...More

This really was a lot of fun, which my 10 year old daughter adored after the seriousness of museums and pretty buildings. Everything was so well designed and thought out. Impressive achievement.

Extraordinary surprise! Well organized, well staffed, great flow, audio devises , lockers, cafeteria, and huge lessons in the VAST geography of Russia... with a pretty proud nationalistic point of view!

The Grand Maket is an amazing attraction and worth a few hours if you're in Piter for more than a day. Anyone who liked model trains and models as a child (or adult) will find a wonderland awaiting them here. The display is mammoth with...More

When I compare this place to what I visited in Rotterdam, I give a lower score to this place. First of all, it's inside a building. The makets are so small but beautifully produced. One hour is enough to finish looking at this place.

It is very nice and well organized. But it is more attractive for kids than adults. I don't recommend adults to visit it unless they have kids
