Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is the first stone circus built in Russia. During its construction, the most modern technical means of that time were used, which made it possible to create an unsupported dome 49 m long, which created a feeling of spaciousness.
The building was overhauled in 2015 and once again welcomes visitors.

We visited a show by brother Zapashnih: Epicenter- it was a real treat with beautiful show, music, colours, acrobats and anymals. Though i do not like circus with animals, here animals were treated with outmost respect. Would love to go again.

The last time I watched a circus was probably 25 years back. Watching a Russian circus in Russia was a dream come true. It was a fantastic experience. The quality of the presentation is fabulous. The artists are amazing. The sound and the music are mesmerizing

Special thanks to the ticket lady for helping us to our seats and then later upgrading us to the VIP seats at no cost.

It’s a must visit (especially when traveling with children).

I really wanted to see an amazing traditional Russian circus! However, the quality wasn't great. The bicyclists kept falling. The juggler kept dropping pins, and the woman with 20 hula hoops did well until the performers kept trying to throw hoops onto her. Maybe 4/20 made it. They had trained birds and sea lions, and lions. It was okay. I think I was expecting more. Cirque du Soleil that travels in the USA is WAY better! Perhaps these are the performers who don't get hired by Cirque? Great for kids though!! The music was LOUD and there are lots of lights, and light up toys for kids. I think most people there were with kids. Since I am a grown up and have seen a lot of Cirque du Soleil shows, this was disappointing for me.

Acrobats, dancing dogs, siberian tigers, hopping on horses, four comedians as a soccer team all formed part of this memorable experience. A must see!!!

I have been to many Circus attractions but this is the real experience. 2 1/2 hours of amazing acts make you loose track of time and space. Book at least 12 days in advance.

First of all, if you're a fan of PETA or hate animals in circuses, then move on. However this incredibly traditional circus blew our minds. We were there last summer and the starring act was polar bears. Six HUGE polar bears were almost in our laps. A little bit thrilling and a little bit scary. The acts were amazing, and all done on ice, no matter what the feature (Dancing Cats on Ice!, Clowns on Ice!, Trapeze over Ice! Amazing Ice Skaters on Ice!). We reveled in it's true, old school circus nature and the performers were amazing on all accounts. Yes, I did feel badly for the polar bears. You will never see anything like this in the states.

acrobats were fantastic. The low point was the tiger and lion show. It was painfully boring to watch and the animals look unhappy as well. Let it go!

The venue was good, but kinda confusing to find your seat when no one speaks english. Just buy the regular ticket price (around 1000 ruble), you still get a decent view

I would give the show 5 stars if it weren’t for the fact they use tigers and lions. The acrobatics were very impressive and it felt like a great insight into local culture too. We sat in the yellow ticket seats (2000 roubles) which gave us a great view, however the stadium isn’t huge so the cheaper seats would be good too and the more expensive ones would be unnecessary in my opinion. Our four year old loved it.
