Oksana was fabulous on our trip. We did one day around the city and the second day we went out to Catherine's Palace and Perhoff. My favourite was Peterhoff. Oksana was very knowledgeable and a great guide to use. If you can afford to go on a private tour this is the one to take. Picked us up midnight off the Sapsan and then we toured for the next two days. Really enjoyed it. Use Oksana if you can!

We booked a one-day private tour on foot and a second day with a driver. Anastasia met us at our hotel and we planned out our 2 days based on both our own ideas and her suggestions. She organised everything for us - bus tickets and entrance to all the museums and churches (including the Hermitage) where we rarely had to wait in any of the sometimes very long lines. She was incredibly patient - even when my husband wandered away yet again to get more pictures - answered all of our questions knowledgably and tempered her pace continuously to our whims. She gave us loads of suggestions about what to do on the days we were not touring with her and made reservations for a restaurant and a boat tour and bought ballet tickets for us. Bravo Anastasia. You made our trip a complete success.

My husband, son, and myself had a private tour of St. Petersburg, Russia. Our driver, Sergey, and our guide, Oxana, were the most gracious and knowledgeable people. Oxana accommodated
me in the most caring way as I was having a difficult time walking. They truly made our experience a wonderful one and one we will always remember.

I was on my own and booked a private grand tour of St. Petersburg through MariaRose Tours, offering a very good customer support and services. Their world-best guide "Lydia" accompanied me and another customer through this great tour where we could have a very competent visit while looking at some piece of Russian history. The next day, she proposed me a continuation of the private tour of Catherine Palace to the Paul Palace which was a very good idea. She never looked at her watch also we were largely behind schedule! I recommend her to every visitor!

The tour was 100 percent customized to our wishes - everything was organized perfectly. The real highlight was our tourguide Alexandra, who has a strong in depth knowledge about Sankt Petersburg, all Sightseeing monuments but was really sympathic at the same time. We had a great experience with the services from hautnah in St. Petersburg. Special thanks to our guide Anna who had all her facts straight and spoke perfect German. The restaurant we went to was really need and we ate some of our best pie there. We had the feeling of being in control of the trip, because we could choose what to do or not to do.
All in all we had a great experience in St. Petersburg and we can just recommend it to everyone!

Fortunately I found this agency on Tripadvisor. Because after getting the opportunity to have two days of my time in St.Petersburg for myself, it was truly a “last minute booking request”. Mr. Marchukov quickly responded and I booked one tour with driver and another one on foot. My guide Anastasia was very friendly and helpful, had impeccable german skills, and great knowledge of the rich history of the city. Besides the obvious must-see-Hermitage, we visited the great old metro-stations (nicknamed: “underground palaces”) and a nice café featuring classic dishes like borshch, pelmeni and piroshky. We also covered most of the essentials like the Kazan Cathedral, Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood, The Monument to the Heroic Defenders of Leningrad and of course the statue of Chizik-Pyzhik. (which thankfully still was there) I would recommend “Individuelle Reise nach St.Petersburg” / “Petersburg-Hautnah” anytime.

Wir, Yvonne und ich, können uns nur vielmals bedanken. Es waren zwei sehr schöne Tage und ein schöner Abend.
Anastasia und Igor haben uns viel gezeigt und wir haben viel gesehen und erfahren.
Unsere Gruppe - erst zu viert, ab abends zu sechst, war groß genug, um alles zu machen, und klein genug, um schnell, agil und übersichtlich wie auch familiär zu bleiben.
Fotostops, U-Bahnfahrt, Bahnhofsbesuch, Einkaufspassage und Delikatessen-Geschäft als auch Shopping und Essens-Stop in typisch lokaler Tradition waren Punkte neben den üblichen Dingen wie Bernsteinzimmer, Peterhof, Blutskirche und Fahrt über die Kanäle und Flüsse unter den Brücken in einer weißen Nacht bei späterer Ufer-Gebäudebeleuchtung.
Wir möchten die Erfahrung und Erlebnisse und Eindrücke nicht missen, vielen Dank, klare Empfehlung.
Nicht viel günstiger als Touren der Kreuzfahrtschiffe, aber sehr viel intensiver.
Klares "macht es uns nach" und vertraut Sergej und seinen Teams.

Photostops, underground use, train station visit, shopping arcade and delicate food store as well as buying souvenirs and celebrating local meals in typical restaurants traditions have been agenda items on our schedule as well as the amber room, Peterhof, Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood and motor boat trip through the channels and on the rivers below the bridges during a white night with the later lights at the shore on the buildings.
We do not want to miss the experiences and adventure and impressions we made, thank you very much again, clear recommendation.
Not much cheaper or less expensive than the cruise ship shore excursions but much more intensive.
Clear 'do like the Roman's do' and 'follow me' so trust Sergej and his teams.
