Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This arena is huge and state of the art. Located within Krestovsky Park it is situated in a place that offers great photo opportunities. The stadium is secure, but you can walk up close to it to get pics.

Impressive stadium, I consider it indoor, due to the possibility of shutting the roof completely, making this a really nice experience (and comfy, had to be 15-20 degrees during match in the evening (no more than 5-8 degrees outside). The grass on the pitch do not have very good conditions for healthy growing, but not to bad for a good soccer match.
Be aware of the traffic issue if you visit a popular event, we traveled over one and half hour from our hotel before we got parked. Easy to locate the correct entry and the security went quick. The logistics into and out of the stadium was really effective.
Unfortunately, my side lost the game - but not because of the stadium.....

I was there to see Russia v Egypt and compared to Luzhniki, this stadium was not great. The sightlines were good and the stadium is really close to the Metro stop. It looks really cool from the outside and the lighting at night changes making look cooler.
On the downside, there was only ONE small concession selling only beer on the 6th AND 5th levels. (You can imagine the lineup). The washrooms must have been tiny, because the line up for the mensroom was huge. (I have no idea where the women's washroom was but I'd imagine it would be worse). The hallways were not made for crowds. Far too narrow for a stadium of that size. People couldn't pass one another and that was the entire 6th level (I know because I was walking around looking for food). The room in the seats was tiny - even my 13 year old commented on how tight he found the seating. I was really disappointed with this 'new' stadium.

Wintering in St Petersburg meant the chance to see Zenit v Dynamo Moscow was mine for the taking....I took it! Nice evening out, Friday December 5, the view on leaving Metro station being very inspiring...blue, floodlit arena. Great treatment from staff there, from security on gate to stewards in the stadium...easy victory, yes...but I'll be back!!!!

Definitely one of the best stadiums in the world.
Access by metro was flawless.
The people who welcomed us were very warm and friendly.
Signage and banners put up were very well done.
I have to say MR PUTIN you pulled it off in style.
Russia I don’t think anyone is going to match your hospitality and organization of the World Cup in the near future....
Ask the South Americans they were in full force.
Don’t have to take my word for it

Coming into the cruise ship terminal you can clearly see this new, world class ( cup) stadium.). Every tour guide is wild about this place, even the non sports folks. Everything about St. Petersburg is upscale and cosmopolitan- a pleasant surprise.

The newly built St Petersburg stadium is a brilliant piece of engineering and one if the best football stadiums in the world. Just loved the experience. Everything was perfect: seating, acoustics, lounges etc.

Saw the match between Sweden and Switzerland and the arena is just amazing. Clean, modern and very high standard. Doesn't matter where you sit, you will have good sightlines no matter what,or at least that is my impression.

Hi, is it possible to visit this stadium? Cannot find any tours online. Hoping to visit on August 1st 2019. Thanks
Written 10 July 2019
Yes, it is possible. Arena advertises the tours on their website. Pre-booking is a must.
As of July 2019 ticket prices for a small group seem to be 700 RUB (adult) and 350 RUB (child).

Hi!
Can we take DSLR camera to the stadium?
Is there any restriction for cameras?
Written 12 July 2018
Hi
You can bring along a DLSR , not a problem. But no big pack, selfie stick, tripod.
There is a storage room if anything big is not allowed. Note food and drinks are strictly prohibited to be brought into the stadium.
Enjoy your match.

Hi, do you know if seats at D102 and D217 use the same gate to get into the stadium?
