Particularly revered was considered the place on the left bank of the Great River, opposite the Kremlin, where the blessed princess, in memory of the wonderful vision, put an oak cross. Later, Olgin's cross was transferred to the Trinity Cathedral, and in ancient times, the chapel of St. Olga of Russia was erected on the precipice of the steep zavilitsky shore. A transparent fount, called Olgin's well, was knocked out from under it.
This chapel, for several centuries, was repeatedly renewed and rebuilt, survived many wars.
In 1935, the chapel was closed. In the 1960s, it was not restored and demolished.
The revival of the chapel became possible in 1999-2000. It is located on the left bank of the Great River opposite the Kremlin. Placed on an artificial platform, built into the steep bank of the Olginskaya embankment in the alignment of ul. Paromenskoy. The solemn consecration of the chapel took place on July 24, 2000.

This tiny chapel is most visited for its lovely view over the river. Lovers have made this their place as well, there are heaps of locks on the railings.

From the place next to the small Olga's chapel is the fantastic view point when you can take pictures of all walls of Krom and cathedral.

This little chapel provides a good spot for a great "skyline" view of the castle and the cathedral. It easy to find to just some 100 meters next to the Olginsky bridge. Two busline stops just at the fot of the bridge on both sides provides possible access, but of sourse the stop on the west side of the bridge is closer to the chapel.

Its a tiny chapel, really tiny, situated 20 feet above the Vilikie River, with great views across to the Krom and the walls. Very popular with wedding couples for lovely photos, and there are many padlocks on the railings surrounding the viewpoint, left by newly married couples. Also a good spot to watch the local fishermen!
