Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

It's probably a less than 2 minutes ride up or downhill. Waiting time not more than 5 minutes. The ride itself is quite enjoyable especially for children. The best way to organize is to walk towards the lower station, take a ride up and continue walk up to Eagle's Nest Hill for some photo shooting and just plain sight seeing. Then walk down the hill back to the top station and ride down. It's 20 rub per person one way to enjoy.

We walked and rode with a 7yo and 2yo. So it's definitely an easy stroll and ride. Pick the right time - we went during noon, but reckon sunset will be better.

The funicular was just a kilometer away from where I stayed, so it wasnt a big deal to try it out. Funnily, the apartment I stayed in was higher than the highest point of the Funicular, so, we actually had to travel downhill to reach it!
The price is very reasonable, and its well worth it rather than trudge up the hill. I have been on the funicular in Barcelona, which is newer and longer, but this is interesting because of its cuteness.

My wife took me to this - apparently it's good luck to newly-weds.
The top will lead you to the Vladi viewpoint across the busy road (take underpass) - it's free and worth going to !!

Apparently, this was built after Kruschev visited San Francisco. Vladivostok, with it’s hills and bridges resembles SF. The Funicular is fun, doesn’t take very long and is inexpensive. Best to use it both up and down unless you like to climb/descend stairs. Good views of the along the short ride and a slice-of-life of Vladivostok.

Although we can find funicular easily in the world, the funicular in Vladivostok should be one of the cheapest which just costs Rub14/px. Worth to enjoy a ride.

Short but very nice route. Very small price, splendid panorama. Easy to reach is a typical thing of Vladivostok. Unmissable for me!

A short fun ride, but be aware, it is one heck of a steep climb up hill to get to it.
Worth it if you're feeling fit.

This is a tiny funicular to go up/come down to and from the view point so it is worth riding on it. It is better to come down in order not to miss where you are for further walking. You need to go left exiting to reach a Catholic? church(not Russian Orthodox) then make a U turn downwards to find the way back to the city center.

It only costs 14 rubles to ride!! The ride is short, but saves you hiking up a steep city hill. Regular departures, you won't have to wait long.
