The journey from mainland Vladivostok to Russky Island would take a few minutes, but its worth the journey since it takes you to one of the biggest universities in Russia that lies near the coast that accomodates both male and female dormitories.

Great dive over the bridge to enter the island, which was virtually uninhabited and cut off before, followed by a fascinating military hardware graveyard visit. Large university also housed here as well as an aquarium (the latter we did not visit)

Must visit if you're in the region. Good baywalk area to stroll at sunset. Hilly area, so wear comfortable shoes.

taxi is the best transportation and not so expensive. To call via maxim-application will cost you ~15-20$ one way
