There is so much more to do in this park than in the UK parks. I will list a few: cycling hire, ice skating, rollerblading (bring your own), fun fair, cafés, outdoor gyms, indoor gym, conference centres, walks, lakes...and more! Great place to go if you are nearby - what activities are open depend on the time of year. The... More

Have not been there for a while and was amazed at all the changes - lots of activities - ice skating, trampolines, slides, places to eat, kids loved it and I obviously did as well.

Park is very big, really enough space to walk or cycle. Close to metro. Could be cared better about: tidiness, plants. But in general it is nice, I do recommend.

Sokolniki is one of the biggest parks in Moscow, but it doesn't feel like it. While meandering through the park, you can buy food and ice cream from vendors while enjoying the shade in summer and the ice rink in winter. The best part? It's about a five minute walk directly from the metro, so you can go to/from civilization... More

Maybe Sokolniki is not the most famous park in Moscow but it is grat anyway. One of my best I think. It's a few meters from Sokolniki metro station. Many famous places inside. The first thing you see is old-fasioned dancing floor for old people with famous soviet songs. It's a grat place for old people to spend their time/... More

Easily accessible by public transportation, it's a park with nice wooded areas, some lakes, and generally nice to walk around in

In the center of the park, you will find lots of crowds on the weekend. There are plenty of street vendors selling lots of food. It is sort of the like going to a food truck event in the US. A friend of ours had to take a few pics of the trucks as her son has a food truck... More

The place got really cool after restoration. Wouldn't say it's the best location for ice-skating; otherwise it's very nice.

Second great park after neskuchnyy, i love it for diversity, there is a luna park - big advantage, but parking as always is a big problem. And it is a bit less foresty than neskuchnyy, although also big and good croud

This is not a typical park to visit once you are in Moscow for a few days. However, if you plan to stay in Moscow longer, you wil for sure visit Sokolniki Park. Especially in weekends there are a lot of people enjoing the "progulky v parke" with their families and a lot of entertainment in the park. During the... More
