This is the boundary that separates the Red square from the interior churches and government administrative offices. The photo opps is across the river. The wall itself is red and the color is very vivid at night with the luminations.
The Kremlin is located in the centre of the city, set high on the Borovitsky Hill overlooking the Moskva River.
Special to see such a momentous part of history that is built into these walls. You will see them when you see many of the other places in Moscow - no need for a special visit to the walls only, they are everywhere!

It is a big, beautiful red wall that surrounds the imposing Kremlin building. The towers rise up at intervals to give the structure greater beauty.
The sheer expanse of the red brick walls of the Kremlin is breathtaking. So much has gone on behind these red barriers. All around the Kremlin is clean and tidy. Heavy traffic on the river side but serene in the gardens.
We had an amazing experience with the short time that we had. This tour will forever be one of the most unforgettable ones. Moscow Russia has lots to offer with their food and their culture.
