This arch is simply awesome in it's detailed sculpture, it's sheer presence which just makes you stand and look up to it in sheer amazement. And all of this while it sits in the middle of a busy ten lane dual carriageway.

Definitely has roman influence with the textures and the sculptures of warriors greeting whoever passes through the arch. Powerful words written on both sides of the arch, both beautiful and moving.

The Moscow Triumphal Arch was built in the 1830s to commemorate Russia’s victory over Napoleon. Today, it is located in the middle of Kutuzovsky Prospekt somewhere near Victory Park; the nearest metro station should be Park Pobedy. It is an impressive-looking structure, worth a visit if you happen to be in the vicinity of Victory Park. The attraction is free... More

This arch is in the same area as Victory Park so if you go to the park you should not miss this magnificent arch. If you happen to be there at night you can get the most amazing picture of the arch in lights. Another monument that commemorates the victory over Napoleon.

Located near the entrance to the Victory park, this thing is easy to find and worth checking out. Very interesting details commemorating victory over Napoleon. Didn't like the usage of black colour on the arch, it's not usual thing for triumphal objects to have this colour on them. This makes it more interesting and worth seeing.

Here, near the Victory Park in the middle of Kutuzovskiy Prospekt (Kutuzovskiy Avenue) stands proudly this Triumphal Arch. We visited it, walked around it and had taken some photos on this commemorative edifice which was designed and built in the glory of the victory over Napoleon. First existed the Triumphal arch on Tverskaya Gate Square in the thirties of XIXth... More

This monument looks very amazing within two big highways and the view around is very in Moscow style. If you will go further you will be in the Victory Park - one of the most significant places in Moscow. Highly recommend to visit these two places.

Pretty hard task to find a way to arch for a closer look. It's good to know that an original arch was built in 1834 near Tverskaya Zastava square which is 50 meters away from 1-ya Tverskaya-Yamskaya street. Arch was dismantled in 1936 with idea to place closer to Belorusskiy train station however plan wasn't implemented. Arch was fully re-built... More

The Triumphal Arch is located close to the interesting Borodino Museum. It's worth a quick look and a photo if you're near, but not worth a special visit

If you've already found yourself in the neighbourhood of Poklonnaya Gora and Victory park, take a walk from the metro station and take a few pictures. It's a different kind of Triumphal Arch due to its black and white colouring, which is quite striking. It's newly renovated and looks really good.
