A long worthwhile walk if you have the time. Good vantage points for photo's and lots of cafes as well. There are exquisite cozy 18-19th century mansions from Moscow nobility to view during the walk as well.

Almost quiet place in center but traffic time. You can see Moscow architecture of some last centuries. There is a lot of cafe. Photo and art exhibitions are held in opposite ends of it (Gogolevskiy and Chistoprudniy blvds) in a summertime.

You will see both the best and the ugliest sides. A lot of caffes along the way. And some world famous museums. But the walk is a day long. So choose the good weather.
