This used to be our favourite Sat/Sun walking stroll in Moscow. You start at Gorky Park, go through Neskuchny sad along the river Moscow to Vorobyevy Gory, see the view of Moscrow from the heights, cross the bridge to Luzhniki and stoll on the opposite side of the river next to Novodevichy Monastir to metro station Kievskaya. This is like... More

The park is beautiful, especially in summer. You can walk 8-10 km 1 way along the river in the park. There are some "wild" parts closer to 3rd Ring, and more cultivated & full of cafes, fountains, etc. closer to Museon & Krymsky bridge.

There are numerous parks and green areas in Moscow. Neskuchny sad is special. You feel like you are in a real forest in some corners of the place. It has a lot of attractions for kids and adults. Try it!

If I were tourist I would visit Neskuchnyy sad definitely. You should walk along an embankment, then go up and see Rotunda of 800 y.o. Anniversary founding of Moscow. Best time for visiting - daytime of working days. Try to avoid this place on weekend

It is a peace of wilderness near the city centre, located on the way to the Sparow Hills. A perfect place to take a walk and contemplate in nature.

It was closer to a forest than a garden. It has paved paths to walk and connects to sports facilities and chess club. Great place for an evening walk.
