Bedecked with Easter decorations & a market.

A lovely square to wander round. The huts on the market were varied & there was good street food on offer.

Timisoara is generally a shabby and depressing city and Unirii Square is symptomatic of that. The potential for this square to be bustling and alive is huge. But it is dead. On a Sat afternoon there were just a sprinkling of people. This Unirii Square does not compare with the hustle and bustle of Unirii in Bucharest.

This is probably the coolest historical square of Timisoara. Beautiful facades, a drinking well for pidgeons and green grass all over the square.

Of the three main squares in Timisoara, Unirii Square, or Unification Square, is by far the most picturesque. It is the oldest of the squares and its baroque style evidently appeals to everyone, from locals to travellers of all ages. By far the most impressive aspect of this Square is the architecture. The array of colours of each of the... More

This is a square that you have to walk through and admire and take a seat and sip some lemonade and enjoy. Actually you can walk only through parks and squares to visit the city. It will be a wonderful European experience.

This is a square where you can find many restaurants either in the square or nearby. You wll also find good bars and clubs very close to this place. This square is also perfect if you want some peace and quiet. Here you can enjoy a book or a paper. this square has been under serious renowation, but they are... More

This isn't the most lively square in Timisoara but it's still busy, full of charm and absolutely beautiful.

The place is wonderful and is giving you the taste of the old city cultural and behavioral taste. It is good enough and large to accommodate many people without feeling the crowd and if there are some events is paying back a lot.

Unique place where the large piazza/square is surrounded by beautiful, historical buildings. The architecture is impressive and it is one of the city's main spots for relaxation. Cafes and restaurants offers all year round a place where you can enjoy good food, too.
