Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised! Lots of soace, large rooms, very good condition. Contemporary recent not too exciting but the Corneliu Baba was well worth seeing, covering pretty much the whole of the 20th century.

I didn't love it, mainly because it's heavy on Cristian art and some (pretty boring) portrets. But I really enjoyed the current temporary exhibition (there were some very interesting pieces). All in all, I recommend if you are staying more than 2 days.

The building, the space, the exhibits......... all below average and poorly presented, symbolic of socialist days. Nothing to write home about at all.
