We never heard about this place before and I wanted to learn about my roots, the island I was born in. I found the prospectus in a place we slept and decided to give it a try. We decided to go for the guided tour and thought that it will last between 20/40 minutes but no, it lasted 1h30 and was very interesting! I learnt a lot about the origin of the plants, flowers and even a bit about people. The guide was like an encyclopaedia, telling us about history of the coffee and the island. It might not be for the taste of everyone so if it's not then I will advise you to go on a visit without a guide. For me it was excellent as I don't like looking at a plant or flower without knowing anything about it. We had delicious macarons: cinnamon, caramel and geranium with a cup of both "Bourbon" coffee and "Pointu" coffee. Personally I prefer light coffee so I went for the "Pointu" coffee and my husband prefers strong coffee so he took "Bourbon" coffee. I will highly recommend to all the curious people like me!

We decided to go visit the coffee plantations but once arrived we opted for a nice, relaxing coffees brakes instead. We where accompanied by our two faithful toy poodles and appeared to be inappropriate to visit the plantation with them, the lady at the desk didn't look happy at all. Despite of that we had a lovely time testing coffees and chit-chatting before to head to the nearby majestic falls. Cute place to stop by.

In 2013 we visited this place for the first time. Second time, we revisited the place in 2017 again. Since the first time, plants and flowers grew and grew! It's really a pleasure to visit the garden now. After the visit the coffee shop offers now an extended variety of coffees and other beverages. Also the Souvenir shop has been expanded. Went also just simply to drink very tasty coffee :)

Our tour guide invited us to a journey thru time. He knew a lot of Details about the plants and made us feel like we're on a discovery tour. He told a lot of nice stories promoting the history of La Réunion. We ended the tour with a Cup of their Special coffee and a delicious coffee-fruit Cocktail.
