I went to this lovely restaurant/B&B with my boyfriend and his family, and I was very impressed by the lovely garden, great jacuzzi tub, and gorgeous food and Rum collection. The whole place is very clean and nicely maintained. The owner was extremely friendly and hospitable. He was chatting with us while we were having lunch, and telling us lots... More

We visited on 31/12 and were the only visitors. It was so tranquil and nice to get lost in the many paths around the garden. They had rénovation works since I had last visited and it was a really good afternoon visit.

The garden was not as big as expected. It is very tranquil and there are numerous benches provided for one to sit and listen to the birds or admire the plants. In December there are many plants in flower which is always the best. The birds are active due to all these flowers and their nectar. This means it is... More

The garden has some potential but presently is a bit short. There is a nice path, several parts were under constructions so the potential may be higher in the future.

It was a foggy afternoon in the mountains (so no viewpoints) so decided to go to Kelonia and the Conservatoire Botanique but it was closed! Looking what to do, I decided to go to the aquarium but on my... More

If you are visiting this exotic garden you will love it, because here there are almost all species of Reunion Island and Madagascar. take your time because there is much to see and photograph: plants, flowers, mosses long hair, traveler's trees huddled with each other as one big family, huge palms, fragrant flowering... A nice place to while away an hour or 2. Ask the staff to point out where the chamelions are. A guide book is available in English.
