Heart of the city

The location is perfect . It's very near to the market , and fronting a park and few blocks away from the malls.

Visited to hear mass at this beautiful, old church. Architecture is typical of old Spanish times in the Philippines.

The cathedral was probably quite beautiful when the priests actually cared enough to repair it. Today, the floor is always dirty with broken tiles, some fans don't work, and the speaker system has an annoying humming sound. With as many people as there are attending the church, they are receiving quite the coin. However, the priests spend it on themselves... More

One of the must see places when you visit Bacolod! Parking can be an issue if there is an ongoing mass.

Its big and a charming structure that represents the early Christian Architecture. It stated the history and the bells used in this cathedral. It is because the frontage is a park, it is strategically located for church goers to wait for the next mass or to gather together after the mass.

Beside it is LCC (La Consolacion College) the oldest school in Bacolod also built in the 1900s. The nice thing about this place is that it is near manokan country and SM and the... More

The churches here in Bacolod & Iloilo is rich with history and are huge. We found the church dark, the ambient light filtering through the stained glass was quite minimal ( was... More
