Unfortunately, the museum was under renovation when I got there. But what I found interesting is the beauty of the white rock walls and native capiz windows outside that I usually see on high fashion magazine wherein it is being used as a background. And I was still able to find a good stuff. What more if it's open ha... More

A MUST SEE ! The Ramon Aboitiz Foundation has preserved this amazing ancestral home to perfection! A Museum that brings you back to how families lived them, with their customs and values. Casa Gorordo stands proudly in Parian, Cebu!

a lovely morning spent looking around this lovely old house come museum..the information about the history of cebu and rizel is very good and the walk through the rooms stimulates conversation as well as thoughts of a bygone era...the grounds are very compact but one can just chill out and listern to life go by in cebu back street

Really enjoyed this museum. All the artifacts are original no replicas. The tour guide was excellent and spoke great English. Nice little gift shop. The wood work inside is beautiful. Highly recommend.

A well maintained antique house, makes one see the history of cebu in one go. The guides are helpful, the tablet rental is pretty much useless...XD Just go for the ticket with no tablet.

This place was much better than we expected. The guided tour was very educational and very pleasant. Learned a lot about Cebu's history. The lunchroom had good brewed coffee and delicious snacks. Also many native products on sale.

Visiting Casa Gorordo Museum is like going back in time during the Spanish times. Appreciation to historical places, I am thankful to those who preserved and maintained this place.

Casa Gorordo Museum was originally a private home built in the 1850s and purchased by the Gorordos, one of Cebu’s leading families. The lower part of the house has walls of Mactan coral stone and the stunning upper-storey living quarters are pure Philippine hardwood, held together not with nails but with wooden pegs. use to come here for field trips,...
