Because I love history, being here is definitely worth my money. My husband, my sister, and I went here for a tour and enjoyed the silence and history it brought and revealed to us. We've learned so much and it's definitely worth the visit!

The museum used to be a prison. Considering the minimal entrance fee, a trip to this museum was a treat! Very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tourism students served as our guides. A well-stocked museum shop would be a welcome improvement.

I still love this place as a historical and relaxation park. You get to see history of Cebu as it unfolds with all the Spanish documents and pictures. Love Cebu indeed.

When I was a younger. My idea to this place is like a prison cell. The entrance is like your getting inside of a large cell due to having barbed wires. Yet this place is having a lot of items in our history.

This historic building used to be the Cebu City gaol. The ticket office is to the side. The girl hand wrote a receipt. Surely they could use a cash register instead? Entrance is P75 for foreigners and P30 for Filipinos. This dual pricing is more...More

Best accompanied by a guide this interesting and well kept museum tells the storyof Cebu/. It is a former prison.
