I visited this place this morning to see what is it all about. It's located on the parking lot right next to the Jaime Velasquz Park in Salcedo Village. Parking is available on the street. I think there are parking areas available nearby also. Pets aren't allowed. Push carts (like those big push carts in the grocery) are available for... More

The expatriate community in Makati seems to have brilliant idea for community project. I read from TripAdvisor about this Saturday market and I was really keen to visit this market. In Singapore, I am a grassroots leader in a private housing estate in Singapore and I am actively involved in organizing activities for the private estate residents. I wanted to... More

Instead of waking up late and strolling in the mall where you'll be tempted to eat in usual fast food chains, why not walk up early and take a stroll to Salcedo Saturday market and indulge yourself in a haven of organic foods and unique dishes that you can rarely find in typical restaurants. The cost of the prices varies... More

Waking up on Saturdays to walk to Salcedo market is one of those small satisfying things I get to do on weekends. Love the sense of community this place makes me feel, and I thoroughly enjoy having so many interesting options to try from small businesses around Manila. Lovely to have an alternative to the mall on weekends, and I... More

My wife and I went here a couple times. Market was smaller than i expected, but primarily mostly food stalls. Its very interesting and nice to walk around early morning. My wife went crazy sampling so many things she hasn't had for a long time and enjoyed them all. I loved the BBQ pork sticks you can buy there. nice... More

We took a cab from the Makati Diamond to this Saturday market for 100 Php (US$2 - although the trip back, which seemed longer was only 61 Php or 70 Php including tip). There was no admission charge. The market is primarily about food - to be eaten onsite (there's a table-area in the centre) or to be taken away.... More

Compared to other local markets, this is a high end market for tourists and "balikbayans" with $ to spend and who are snotty and can't be inconvenienced with going to the "talipapa"! Food is, nonetheless, very good with some that are uniquely prepared and truly "gourmet". You'll find fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, meat, but cooked food is the best highlight.... More

My wife and I always spend our morning here at Salcedo Market. It is enjoyable seeing lots and lots of food. We buy fruits, vegetables, eggs, nuts and some pastries. Crowded early in the morning. They have cooked food for you to eat. Tables and chairs are provided. There are grilled fish and pork bbq. I definitely recommend this Market... More

The first time I went to this place I got so excited I didn't know if I should eat or shop first, and I kept coming back since then. The place reminds me of the street markets in Europe (like the mercato giovedi in Italy) where one can buy organic farm produce (fruits and veggies), dairy products, meats, seafoods, breads,... I always cap my Manila trips with a visit to this one of a kind market. From filipino fare to more adventurous food this is the place. Start with "taho" while looking around. Follow up with bbq, corn dogs and churros. Breakfast follows with morcon, inihaw na boneless bangus, and anything else you can buy. Fruits, fresh vegetables are to... More
