It is a long climb but it is definitely worth it! We went up the hill when the sun is about to set, so we were able to pray in silence at the chapel and grotto. The fog added to the mystical experience.

If you don't intend to pray to Jesus thru Mary, dont go up. This is a pilgrimage site, not an accidental exercise venue where you can take pictures for sharing on social media.

the place is a solemn one (obviously). it also serves as a morning exercise, since you have to walk a lot of steps to reach the top. over all, it is a must-see location

Lourdes Grotto is a beautiful place, there were lots of flowers and trees and a scenic view as you go 252 steps up to the chapel.
