Fascinating visit to the Fertility Temple on the way to Tiwanaku. Samuel, the guide provided as very good historical description and made the tour really special.

This village is directly across the road from Taypikala Lago hotel. We were surprised to find an active town (it was a holiday), with several restaurants, visitors (mostly Peruvian), and an Inca fertility site. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

This is a small village south of Puno. Interesting Indian culture. It is small, and great to stop if on the way somewhere. Not worth a special visit. Be careful, thlocals do not lik their picture taken, they believe it takes their spirit from th. They get very upset, and really don't like visitors

There are many points of interest in the area. The Fertility Park is very interesting. Also the Plaza de Armas with the sun clock is interesting. There are many outstanding views of Lake Titicaca from this area.

After that nickname, it brought me curiosity. It sounded romantic. She gave me instructions how to get there, which shared bus to take, how much for the... More

Have never been in this part of Puno. Surprised me that there was an Inca Temple called Templo de la Fertilidad, very interesting

I think this was our tour of the inca tombs which was an optional tour. The tombs were made of massive stone and were filled with mummies and several artifacts. Unfortunatly the tombs had be had been emptied by the Spainards to obtain the gold artifacts.
