Personal bi-lingual service for 1 to 101 people (I made up the 101). Friendly, courteous and most importantly knowledgeable. On their walking tours you'll learn about pirates and the over 500 year History of this beautiful island. They offer tours, arrange for local boat operators to take you fishing or simply for a leisurely cruise around the island. A MUST for birders. About 95% of Taboga is dedicated as a rest and feeding preserve for oceanic migratory birds...amazing! Heidi, Herminio and their crew will deliver a wonderful experience on land or on sea.

We had a very good experience with Heidi on the snorkeling tour. She pointed out the fish to us. On the drive to and from the very private snorkeling beach she gave information about the island. The whole tour was super private, which we appreciated a lot. She arranged that we could have the snorkeling equipment also in the afternoon, together with towels and lockers. After the snorkeling tour we had lunch at one of the restaurants that Heidi had recommended Unfortunately it was windy the day that we went on the snorkeling tour, therefore we experienced a lot of stinging jellyfish. Also with this she helped us by giving us some cream to relieve the stinging.

Heidi is great. She took our family snorkeling. She went in the water with us and pointed out all the marine life to us. Afterwards she sent us pictures and names for all the things we saw underwater. She provides you with gear unless you have your own and with transportation. A fun experiences. The trip before she organized a boat trip for our family around the Island where she pointed out all the different birds we saw. She is very knowledgeable and loves to share her knowledge with others. She has made it a mission of hers to help save the sea turtles here on the Island. At least five turtles have laid their eggs on the beaches of Taboga. Heidi and others are rescuing these eggs, monitoring them and then releasing the hatchlings back into the sea once they are ready. An amazing woman who contributes so much to the Island.

If you are staying a few days on Taboga Island, this is definitelly a good option to pass your time, maybe in-between beach sessions, while the sun is up and too strong. The Tour Center may look precarious, located in a little kiosk, however, they have excellent and reliable service. You can reserve any available tour by phone, WhatsUp, or email, you can pay by credit card or cash, right before the trip. The guide assigned to your trip may be speaking a basic English, however, they will answer your questions to the best of their knowledge and take good care of you - safety-wise. We took a tour by cart - up to the highest mountaineous peak on the island, through the town and though the jungle. Really interesting, as most likely we would not have ventured that far in the day heat. At the terminal point, we got to visit the WW2 concrete bunker used to defend Panama at that time. The other tour we enjoyed was on a little boat, all around the island. This trip give one the opportunity to see the uninhabited side of Taboga, with sheer rock cliffs, cristaline waters, spectacular mountaineous formations, a cave, and a waterfall.

We had a great experience working with Heidi during our stay in Panama. We were booking last minute trips and she helped us get the best for Taboga, Contadora and Bolaños island tours! Heidi is very responsive and speaks English/Spanish. In addition, she has an answer to any general question you might have. We highly recommend her for anyone visiting Panama. She’s awesome!!
