Lovely place. quiet and serene. Not many people on island. Highly recommend this place. It has a UNISCO heritage site at this place and lots of grennery.

if you take the boat with the face of a guy on the motor don't believe nothing he tells you. he will not pick you up at the time discussed plan on taking any boat that comes back across when you want to leave.

This was our biggest mistake to go there. Both of two destination was very wasted full of junks and nobody speak English. Trust me you can't ask for coffee ....they don't understand you.totally nothing.in the hotels or local restaurants too. All the pics are lying...More

It's around 1.5 hours one way from Colon on a scenic coastal road. There are several free beaches along the way. Parking in the lot for the water taxi is $5 (they now have official receipts to give you). $2.50pp each way for the taxi....More

Yes it is open. We went there yesterday for a day trip from Panama City. We stayed on the beach at the hotel for the day and ate lunch there (our tour guide has a relationship with the hotel operator Alberto). Hope that... More
