We hopped on the boat with Captain Boy and headed to Isla Zapatillas. The ride out there from Bocas Town was so beautiful as you go through the mangroves and by the islands. The beach is beautiful and it has the most beautiful green waters....More

This deserted island is probably what everyone is looking for when you talk about a beach with white sand and cristal clear water and reefs with tons of fishes - you definetely won't be disappointed if the wheather plays along! (which usually is the case)

We tool a day tour and it was lovely. The beach is perfect and there’s a really great rainforest trail. Getting there was a bit annoying, as it didn’t stop raining.

My GF and I hired a private boat taxi to take us here (among other places) during a day tour we arranged. The islands are about 45 min boat ride from down town Bocas. I understand this is the location that "Survivor Panama" was filmed?...More

We loved it here so much, we went back twice within our week stay. It's a small island with no hotels or restaurants so make sure you bring everything you will need but worth the trip.

This is a gorgeous little island that we stopped at on our boat tour. The snorkeling was pretty good, and the views were down right amazing. Definitely worth making a trip to see it.

I thought this only happened on national geographic. We witnessed hundreds of baby sea turtles heading into the ocean for the first time.

We're actually standing in LAX having just flowing in from SJO after 8 days in Bocas, and BDT had so much more to do than the Caribbean side of CR/Puerto Viejo. But from PV to BDT is around 4.5 hours door to door, border... More
