Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

After a walk from the main part of town along Avenida Central, I had a chance to relax with some books! Several sections of books were for sale, in English and in Spanish. Wanting to improve my Spanish skills, I sought out children books but noticed that there were several titles to choose from - across a range of ages and topics, for 50c and $1. I even got an English language novel, for the plane ride home. The building was spacious and bright with the glass exterior letting in plenty of light. From there I could take the road on the other side of the building (parallel to AvenidaCentral), a quieter road up to the artisan market. Time well spent.

Wow, am I thrilled that Boquete offers such a wonderful library for use by residents and tourists alike! They have a nice selection of fiction, written in English, that is separated for easy browsing. Other categories include books in English and Spanish mixed together. As a temporary resident, I applied for my library card right away. It was ready in just a few days, but I was allowed to check out books while waiting for the card. As a tourist I paid $20, but will be refunded that amount before leaving the area. Its a beautiful, clean, well organized library, with a photo gallery on the top floor. I'd recommend it to all! Super friendly, helpful librarians are there to answer your questions.

I’m a huge fan of libraries, and it’s great this exists as the first in Panamá. But it’s much like any library and nothing much of significance to see. I wouldn’t make a trip to it, but if you’re nearby it’s nice to look at the photos on the 2nd floor of Boquete before paved roads came here.

In the USA, we take libraries for granted. This library is the only one in northern Panama. I now donate all the magazines and books I bring on my trip. So many people use the library. Activities that would not be available to all ages of children are presented and the kids enjoy these programs. There are a complete section of pcs so these kids are not left behind. You are able to read newspapers from around the world to stay up on your home.

Loved walking through this library. It is a modern building with an art gallery on the top floor and well appointed space on the floors below.

I recommend walking through here if you are in Boquete.

I loved this library. The building is modern and inviting. They have a good collection for a small library - in both English and Spanish. They have books for sale and I was happy to be able to buy some books in Spanish for my little granddaughter.

They also have summer programs for children there and I happened upon a children's program about recycling that was really fun to listen to and improve my Spanish.

They also have an extensive collection of National Geographic Magazines going back several decades. They were fun to browse.
