Franklin was a terrific guide and small business owner. Unlike places where you're just in a line of horses, here we went all through the town and area- Franklin gave us riding tips and let us gallop on the horses a bit. He has rescued some of the horses and they are in great shape.

Our ride with Franklin was an experience I won't forget anytime soon. Already on arrival you immediately noticed that a real horse whisperer is at work here. The horses radiated an incredible calm and satisfaction, which gave me a safe feeling as a rider. You can just feel animals being treated with love and respect, and that's exactly the case here.
But what made this ride truly extraordinary was the way Franklin designed the day. It wasn't the typical "head down and follow the guide" ride you often experience. No, it was almost like walking through nature with a friend who brings you closer to the secrets of the environment and the landscape in a new, fascinating way.
Franklin not only made sure we were safe, but also that we could feel the connection to the horses. Each curve, each path had its own story, and Franklin masterfully understood how to involve us in these stories. It was as if we were part of an adventure where you not only saw the horses and their nature, but also felt and understood them.
Franklin explained us eg the different grass species... which I thought was great!
This ride was not only a ride, but an unforgettable journey into the world of horses and the nature of Panama. It was just absolutely adventurous...
If you are looking for a special experience that goes far beyond the usual, this is the place for you. I can recommend this ride to anyone who wants to experience the magic between humans, animals and nature in its purest form. Please kiss Pimientos from me ☺️🫶

To quote our 8 yer old “OMG that was amazing!” — a few hours earlier she had been terrified by the idea of riding horses. Our whole family of four (girls 8 and 10) had an unforgettable afternoon. The connection between Franklin and the horses was magical and put everyone at ease. We took a tranquil 2 hour loop through farmland and the girls both had a chance to try galloping. Highly recommended!

First of all, it was a very good experience!
Franklin is a really nice person and treats the horses well. The horses themselves behave and are really lovely to be around.
Franklin is also very flexible, I wanted him to pick me up from a far away place and in return I wanted to help him with the horses, so in total I spent the whole day there! It was a nice experience! The only thing that shocked me was the amount of ticks that were on the horses and on me, when we went to feed some horses in a place a bit further away.
However, I didn't rate the experience "excellent", because in terms of landscape I didn't see so much. Its not Franklin's fault, it's due to some greedy property owners that are asking more and more money for the passage through their property. Franklin is trying hard to find a new route, so if you're interested in horseriding, just ask him about the route, I'm sure he's doing his best.
His WhatsApp number is +507 6588-5054.
Another plus is, that he let me galop a lot because I know how to ride horses, unfortunately he hurt his back the day before, so we couldn't galop together.
All in all it was a good experience and I highly recommend it for all horse lovers!

Good points first: the horses looked healthy and Franklin was very kind to the horses, we could do some galoping
The experience was disappointing, because the whole trip took more than 5 hours from which the riding was 1 hour. We had to wait for 2hours until we could go on the ride.
we expected to see the landscape which was promised on the website we booked it on. But we did only a round around the town.
Also in the beginning we had some safety concerns. My boyfriend has no horse experience, and Franklin sat him on a horse without a saddle and he almost fell off.
After the ride (a bit more than 1 hour) we waited for another 1.5 hours because he promised to drive us back to our hostel.
Everything in all we would not recommend the tour.

We had a great ride in the afternoon. Franklin explained everything in English and as novice riders we even managed a few gallops! The horses are well looked after and he kindly took loads of photos and videos for us to remember the day. Highly recommended!

What a lovely afternoon spent with Franklin and the most gentle and beautiful horses. We were picked up in Boquete and first stop was to buy a big bag of bananas for the horses. Franklin matches the horse to your ability and off we went for a magical ride with breathtaking scenery. Thank you so much Franklin for the discussions about life in general , your wonderful homeland and the flora and fauna.

From start to finish, a disappointment.
I was not matched to a horse that suited me. I told Franklin I am an intermediate rider. He put me on Pepper, a short, 30 year old trail and barn sour horse. I even asked him about this before the ride started and he ignored me. This horse just plodded along begrudgingly.
It was supposed to be a 2 hour ride. Was not even 1 hour of riding as we stopped 4 times for horses to graze/rest.
While we seemed to be in a beautiful area, Franklin took us thru the streets of a tired town. Sooooo sad to be deprived of the surrounding beauty.
Franklin did nor even speak to us at any point on this entire ride.
Franklin says he wants to be a novelist now. He should do that and stop acting like he is providing a tour worth anyone’s precious time in Boquete.

Our family went horseback riding with Franklin in Caldera (near Boquete) and it was some of the most beautiful scenery and enjoyable horseback riding in our lives. He takes you up through the hills overlooking the valley and the nearby mountains. The horses are very well taken care of.
We highly recommend him.

Franklin offers also a 3 hr ride part through town and part up the mountain. His guide is great, very friendly. It only costs $35 be sure and book directly with Franklin. You don't ride nose to tail like many places, you can ride side by side, in other words you really are riding. Franklin is in Caldera which is part of boquete but 25 min away.

Good afternoon,
Have you seen the Dutch girls Kris and Lisanne on the day missing
April 1st or on March 31st in your neighbourhood or elsewhere?up
We are making up the timeline.
Ols press release May 12 by Lee Z.
Panamanian television, many radio stations and print press were present as the parents of Lisanne spoke. They expressed their thank you to all who have been helping in the search for both ladies.
Their plea is not to forget and to keep looking. The $30,000 reward is now publicized to all of Panama and with the one Dutch Television station that came to Boquete also.
There are no new developments, but leads are coming in and being followed. The investigation is still very much alive and the plea made today is for more information. There is still great hope that both lost women are alive and can be found with the correct information.
So if you have information make a contact with the number or email on the poster. This will not be the police and you can keep your name private if you wish.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
