About
We specialize in small tours so that you get to learn more about the areas that interest you. Our tour is "hands-on" as you experience each step of the "traditional" process. Pick some cherries from the trees. (November through January) Process the cherries. Feel and test some beans to check moisture content. Try out our pilon and see how heavy the stick actually is. Roast your own coffee to take home! (each group will have a machine to roast a small batch of coffee as you learn about the roasting process) Sort your coffee to make it perfect before you package it. And last but not least, Drink some coffee brewed in a variety of ways. **Geisha coffee tasting is included!**

Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a unique and personalized experience for the entire family. From my 8 year old, teenagers , to adults the hands on tour was very unique and kept us entertained for over three hours. The owners provided in depth “farming” of the cherry to brew. We had no idea what it takes to drink your favorite cup of joe! I would not only encourage but I would go out of your way to visit the Casanga Farm. Five stars all the way.

I have already done 2 coffee tours and this was by far the best!
Enrique explained the process of growing coffee with a lot of humor and was able to answer all questions.
The great thing about this tour is that you are not just guided through a plantation, but you can get involved yourself: picking, processing the beans, roasting. And then take a portion of coffee home with you!
Everyone on the finca is very friendly and in a good mood. In between we even rescued a little hummingbird that had basically run out of gas. The finca is teeming with hummingbirds! There are also dogs and geese that lead a great life!
We were also very lucky with the other participants on the tour, who were incredibly nice.
We really had a great time and thank Enrique for that! The tour is highly recommended!!

A great visit to a coffee farm where they didn’t just show us how coffee grows but we went through the whole process of harvesting the coffee beans, hulling and roasted them and at the end preparing the coffee and tasting it. All hands on. Great and knowledgeable guide with ability to address all of our many questions. The experience was worth more than we paid for it.

This tour worth every minute and also $.

We booked the tour a few days in advanced - which is recommended - as the owner try to accommodate a private tour for the groups (couples or more) who book. So, you get the most of it.

We were picked-up in the morning and had a quick transport to the farm.

At the farm, Marvin shared history of coffee, the farm and not just explained the pure process but made us be part, experience and taste all the steps until the final coffee.

After we’ve done wine, beer and Champagner tours around the world - this experience was perfectly adding up.

Again: book early and plan some time - it is no rush service with too large groups.

Very interesting tour by host Melvin. The entire process, from berry to cup, was explained in a very interactive way. I have learned a lot I didn't know about coffee, which enables me to enjoy my cups even more from now on.

The Finca Casanova coffee farm was a blast to visit. If you want the total coffee experience this is the place. Every step of the coffee making process can be experienced hands on from picking the cherries to grinding the beans for a cup of coffee. Never realized coffee was as labor intensive as it really is. The owners have put together an awesome adventure for the entire family, even the non coffee drinkers will enjoy the process.

My friend and I stumbled across this coffee farm partly by accident. We were looking for a small place and are very glad we found this one in our search. Arrangements were quick and easy via WhatsApp. The owners even offered to pick us up in Alto Boquete before our tour - a necessity for us because we didn't have a car.

When we showed up, we were greeted by two friendly dogs (Karma and Dante) and our guide, Enrique. He was an absolute delight, from start to finish! I actually can't say enough good things about Enrique. His English is impeccable, his knowledge of coffee production is impressive, and he has a wonderful sense of humour as well. He showed incredible patience, pausing to allow the French couple on our tour to translate his explanations and encouraging their three-year-old to participate in the production process too.

The tour was a happy surprise, with hands-on elements from coffee picking to roasting. They even included a sealed sample of coffee, roasted to your preference. And, the tour finished with a coffee tasting, brewed three different ways, as well as the special Geisha coffee.

Plus, things worked out so that Andi was able to give us a lift back to downtown Boquete, and we were able to learn even more about her and her family and their lives in Panama.

You have an amazing place, Andi and Rick, and deserve every 5-star rating you have earned! Thanks so much!

Absolutely amazing experience. Learned so much about coffee and the processing of it from tree to cup. Now we know what to buy and how. Definitely worth it!

Really great tour with great information and a hands on approach that really engaged our kids. Felt the passion and love that went into the coffee and the tasting was interesting in approach and delicious! Highly recommend!
